Demolition has begun!

The outside demolition of the building has begun. It's actually pretty fun watching the construction crew work on this. They have amazing skills with the large machinery. People were stopping by left and right to take a peek at what's going on. Some had cameras to snap a few shots and some would just sit in their cars and watch.

This is a big project!

Melody and I stopped by Woody's yesterday to snap some photos and see how things are going. We really wanted to go inside but we weren't able to because they are still removing asbestos. I thought this photo could really give you a sense of what's about to happen. It will be sad to see Woody's go, but we hope to bring something fresh and new to West Carrollton. We hope our move will encourage others to come to the area and improve the overall aesthetics of WC.

WOO HOO!!!!

So yesterday we finally got the good news! All funds have been approved and we are the new official owners of a multi-million dollar project...soon to be our new store. Woody's market is coming down and A Taste of Elegance is going up. It's a surreal feeling. This is something we have been working on for a long time! We will start working with the architect soon and demolition is set to begin within days. Don't expect to see a crumbling building quite yet though, this is a long process and they start from the inside and move out. The biggest part will be the removal of the good 'ol "over the road" restaurant. Stay tuned...
